SKATING BACKGROUND:

  • Competed internationally in the senior division of synchronized skating as a part of Team USA in 2007, 2009, and 2010.

  • Gold medalist at the 2009 Jegvirag Cup in Miskolc, Hungary (Senior)

  • Bronze medalist at the 2007 Zagreb Snowflake Trophy Cup in Zagreb, Croatia (Senior)

  • Competed at the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships from 2003 to 2012 in the junior, senior, collegiate, and adult divisions.

  • 2006 synchronized skating national pewter medalist in the junior division

  • 2011 synchronized skating national silver medalist in the adult division

  • 13-time medalist at the Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships


TESTS PASSED:

  • Gold Moves in the Field

  • Gold Solo Pattern Dance

  • Pre-Gold Partnered Pattern Dance; Quickstep (Gold dance), Viennese Waltz (Gold dance)

  • Intermediate Freestyle


PROFESSIONAL/COACHING EXPERIENCE:

  • Head coach of Windjammers Synchronized Skating since 2013.

  • Head Coach of the Metro Blades Open Masters (adult) team since 2018

  • Coached basic skills classes at Braemar Arena prior to joining the LMFSC coaching staff

  • Team leader & assistant coach at the USFS Synchronized Skating Training Festival and Coaches College in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013.

  • President of the Western Michigan University Skating Club from 2008-2010


OTHER CREDENTIALS:

  • One of ten original athletes selected nationwide to be a member of the U.S. Figure Skating D.R.E.A.M. Program from 2008-2010

  • Member of the USFS Synchronized Skating Development Committee 2016-2017 and 2020-2023

  • CPR, AED, and first aid certified

  • Member of USFS and PSA
