About Synchronized Skating

Synchronized Skating is one of today’s fastest growing sports! It is a highly technical form of skating characterized by speed, precision, intricate formations, elaborate footwork and breathtaking transitions performed by teams of 8-20 athletes. In the Midwest alone, more than 200 teams compete at levels ranging from beginner to collegiate.  Synchronized Skating provides all the benefits of an athletically challenging, competitive team sport. Skaters learn to use their individual skills as well as to work together to create a high performing team; a valuable lesson both on and off the ice.
